Visitor Centre
The popular destination and information point of the castle hikers and Blue Trail hikers is the building of our Visitor Centre. The exhibition showcasing local values is not only for the adults, the members of the smaller age group will also find the activities for them.

The history of the Castle of Füzér
With the help of short animated films based on modern technology and explorations, you get an authentic picture of the structure of the Castle of Füzér in each era. On the touchscreen interface you can find games, videos, so a meaningful pastime is guaranteed.
You can also find tile stove tiles made after the pattern of the original pieces, which provide exciting knowledge for the blind and visually impaired!
As part of the exhibition, there are other interesting things here: our written memories, the castle inventories and the artefacts used once in everyday life can be explored.
Association of the Castles of Northern Hungary
You can learn about the castles of Northern Hungary, located in the northern region, in a unique way.
The locations are not only visible in photos, but they almost “tell” themselves through interesting information and short colourful stories. Learning of the younger and older generations together could not be more fun!
Looking on the inverse drop-shaped window, you can view the Castle of Füzér from a unique perspective, and the photo documentation of the castle consisting of hundreds of photographs is also located here!
Natural, built and cultural values of Füzér
In the display cases you can see family memorabilia offered by the Schudich family, including porcelain plates from Hollóháza and stoneware from Telkibánya. Nándor Schudich was a forest engineer and forest keeper of, descendant of Füzér. He was in the service of the Count Károlyi family, and his forestry work is significant, to which the forest history memorial on the courtyard also pays tribute.
You can also learn about the wildlife of the Füzér Castle Hill being one of the natural wonders of Hungary, and our built heritage provided by the settlement.
